So this is the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai , the tournament was always held every 5 years prior. After this one it was bumped down to happening every 3 years. So the series goes all the way to the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. And the last Tenkaichi Budokai in DBZ is the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai with Goku vs Uub. EDIT: Mr. Satan holds the record for the most wins (5 Wins) if I remember correctly, his first victory was in the 24th Tenkaichi Budokai and spans all the way to the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai since Goku and Uub forfeit their match.

I don't think I mentioned it but the narrator for Dragonball was also Captain Ginyu, and a bunch of voices in YYH (one was Yusuke's principal) some characters in the dark tournament etc. Unfortunately he passed away January last year.

Never really realized how quickly we got to the WMT tournament in OG Dragonball probably my favorite tournaments in manga after the Dark Tournament I think Flame of Recca also had a pretty decent tournament what's everybody else's favorite tournaments in anime/manga

Probably my favorite tournament was in kengan ashura but it's also worth noting that the majority of that manga was just one big tournament, definitely recommend it if you like fighting manga.

yeah it's always fun to see the tournaments, and I always have to give hercule credit because while he struggles against the main cast, he did legitimately win a wmt on his own merit and probably would continue to do so if our crew of world breakers weren't there.

Even if you were to remember who won matches, you've seen them from multiple distinct tournaments. So it would probably be even more confusing.
