Glad to see you're enjoying Dragon Ball, I always said its the most heartfelt series within the DB franchise. I WISHED TeamFourStar made an abridged for this because it would have been more hilarious than DBZA.

I always love how much of a lil shit Krillin is at the start. He grows up to be one of the nicest guys and Goku's best friend and it's fun watching their journey together

Yeah as the pattern you may have noticed all of Goku's friends aside from a couple exceptions generally don't start out as 100% good people. Bulma ran Goku over and shot him during their first meeting (among other things), Oolong was masquerading as a monster which he used to terrorize a town for its girls, Yamcha was a bandit who schemed against Goku to get the dragon balls and here we have Krillin who I proudly call the Toxic Rival. He gets better.

You asked about Goku using Nimbus; He is seen to use it at least until Namek, maybe sometimes even after that, Gohan also uses Nimbus during Buu saga, so it stays in the family for very long time.

Fun little fact, the voice actress for Monkey D Luffy is also Krillin from Dragon Ball :)
