I am filled with anticipation as to what the deal is with this huge straw hat! It was certainly presented in a menacing way!

The Giant Straw Hat Nobody knows what the importance of the Straw Hat is yet, but here are my thoughts The Giant Straw Hat is originally Joyboy's Hat And the original Joyboy existed during the Void Century 900 years ago. Ever since there have been reincarnations or people who inherited his will each century. Now Luffy will become the 8th reincarnation. There seems to be 7 tombs prior to Im walking into the Giant Straw Hat tomb. So each tomb may represent a different Joyboy or other significant figures that tried to stop the World Government in the past. So that means there could have been 7 people who have been Joyboy in the past. The Straw Hat is meant to symbolize the rising dawn. What I mean by this is if you place the hat upward 2 dimensionally it looks exactly like the sun rising over the ocean. Also in the Enel moon cover story we see the Giant Straw Hat pictured inside the tomb hieroglyphics. In Chapter 470, if you flip the Enel cover story upside down then you see a Giant Straw Hat. As for why the Straw Hat is giant, it may have something to do with the Ancient Oars because during Skypiea we see a giant Oars statue in the middle of the island and on the map it was shown Ogres lived on Skypiea and Jaya prior a certain time. The statue actually resemble a real life stone statue made by a tribe called the Olmecs. In Mesoamerican civilization during around 2500 BCE the Olmecs were known in specializing agricultural tools and their most famous creation was rubber. The Olmecs were known has the rubber people, so given that and trying to tie it back to the Ancient Oars then we can assume at one point Joyboy had lead the Ancient Kingdom had ties to the Ogres in a significant way thus why the Straw Hat being so giant. Luffy is about to become the 8th reincarnation of Joyboy, which is why Im holds his picture while visiting the giant Straw Hat. Which is ironic because there seems be a significance between the number 8 and the Ancient Kingdom logo with the moon. So Luffy's uprising may have been prophesied all this time if he truly is the reincarnation of Joyboy. And he will be the one to bring everyone in the world together to recreate the existence of the Ancient Kingdom and resemble Pangea.

Yeah, no one really knows anything about the silhouetted figure, not even the manga has shed all that much light on them. What is known though, is that there is something the WG does not want anyone to know as shown by their obsession with ensuring no one researched the void century or comes to understand the Poneglyphs. I mean, we all saw the lengths they went to ensure Nico Robin's people were silenced and Robin herself was terminated. OP has a lot of ongoing mysteries about things: - What is the void century and why does the WG fear people learning about it? - Who is really in command of the WG? The Dragons? The Five Elders? Someone else? - What are the three weapons of mass destruction? We do know of two; the warship Pluton and Poseidon which is incarnated as Shirahoshi. The third one is largely unknown as to what it is and what it does. Even though the blueprints of Pluton were destroyed by Franky during Water 7/Enies Lobby arc, the ship itself is still out there somewhere. - What did Gol D Roger find at the end of his journey? - What is "The Will of D"? - Who exactly was Joy Boy? What did he leave on Laugh Tale? So many questions! And even the manga has not given us much to go on. Oda playing the long game.

Since I know you think she's a Butterface, you might've noticed the "WANTED 100B" shirt that Dr. Kureha was wearing. Chopper's bounty is 100 berries, this is effectively the same a mom wearing her son's sports jersey to what is effectively the One Piece world's equivalent of the G20.

Actually, all caps posts won’t undo the chair shots and allow me to remember something that I otherwise wouldn’t.

So wapols wife, Kinderella, her laugh tamanokoshi-koshi-koshi comes from tamanokoshi which has two meanings. 1 being a palanquin set with jewels or 2, money and social status gained by marrying a rich and powerful man. When she starts her laugh sometimes she will say tamano before the koshi, and other times just koshi-koshi.. so in the English manga to translate it where an English audience can get the same meaning her laugh is gold-dig-dig-dig. And when she just says koshi-koshi-koshi it's just dig-dig-dig.

All you really need to know at this point is that the straw hat is a symbol passed down, which I assume you got from shanks giving it to luffy, and the shadowed figure is a member of the world government and his importance and position will be shown by the end of the reverie! You aren’t forgetting anything just sit back and enjoy ;D
