This episode was the most confusing for me the first time I watched it. The whole time I was wondering what was going on. Was he just crazy, or is there something more going on?

I've mentioned before that when I first watched this it was in Dub. So the whole time Oishi sounded more like your stereotypical veteran cop. So based on that I always thought he was a good guy. This was the episode where he got promoted to dirtbag. The voice he has in the Sub is the same sort of stereotypical voice they give Yakuza in a lot of Anime. And it's been established before this that he's skilled at torturing suspects without leaving a trace on their bodies. This episode is where we really see that in action. Oishi strikes me as the type of guy who could've easily joined the Yakuza if he didn't become a cop. Also where'd you get that Shield Hero shirt? I've been looking for a good one, but haven't been able to find one.
