The show just gets better and better, I like how Emilia went from this weak, crying girl to this strong independent woman in the span of a couple seasons. That's really hard to pull off. Also fun facts: There are some what if stories the author wrote for us to see like what if subaru ran away with rem or if subaru accepted echindas contract, lets just say.. They lead to some not so happy endings. :D

Kind of late to mention this as I missed the last few eps releasing, but it's worth rewatching the scenes of Betelgeuse from season 1 and they have a whole new meaning after you have seen his past. He's not compatible with the witch factor like Subaru is so it drove him insane, but he's still got faint glimpses of his past self. For example, him saying that everything he does is for love is originally because he sacrificed himself because of his love for Fortuna and Emilia. After he thinks he's killed Rem he tells Subaru "This is the result of your actions, by doing nothing you practice sloth, and by doing nothing the girl is dead, you killed her!" With my arm, with my fingers! You killed her!" and he starts crying. A part of him is remembering how of how he killed Fortuna in the past.

It was SO amazing to me to see that incredible dude became that freakish monster! But it is cool to see some of his humanity still fought its way to the surface.

Garf vs Elsa. $30 pay-per-view. I always thought the way Roswaal was talking to Emilia, about how he pities that her effort is wasted in this world where everything has become meaningless, was because he already considers this a failed timeline that Subaru will have to restart (since it doesn't match up with what is in his tome presumably). Now, I don't know for sure that this is true, but that's the way I interpreted things when watching.
