To explain where in the timeline that agreed and Gluttony got to Rem and the others, the entire situation with the blank letter is because Rem was already erased. While Subaru dictated the letter, Rem wrote it. But because Rem was erased, the writing on the letter vanished making it blank. So by then, Rem’s name and memories were already eaten.

Most anime: Ok, new season, let's use one episode as a recap of the first season or slowly introduce them back into the world. Re Zero: Remember that guy from last season that took a small army of elite Soldiers to beat, now fight two guys of the same rank of them right off the bat!

i think the easiest way to think of it is Subaru loves Rem but is IN love with Emilia, also Emilia isnt his girlfriend yet, Emilia doesnt understand the feeling of happiness enough to tell if she loves Subaru yet so theyve put her reply to his confession on the back burner

It's funny you thought Greed was Pride because I had the exact same response. In the moments it's easy to forget that ol Beetlejuice mentioned that the seat of Pride is empty

And season 2 begins. I personally think season 2 eclipses season 1 in quality (and I absolutely loved season 1).

This season is my personal favoirite with how it expands our understanding of the characters and even some creatures of Subaru's new world as well as the character development that will help some characters become more fleshed out. (If im using that word correctly.)
