Katakuri "Anything you can do, i can do better" Charlotte Its so odd seeing a character that, despite not having a specific title within the greater One Piece universe such as 'Warlord' or 'Admiral' or even 'Emperor', giving Luffy a total run for his money. I appreciate that a lot as it showcases that Luffy isn't above everyone as the MC. This is the start of my absolute favorite fight in the series so far, Luffy vs Rob Lucci back in Enies Lobby has been a fan favorite for a long while but that one never really struck a chord with me, this one hits the spot well though. Even though i do have to criticize it in one way, its horrifically cut up. I believe someone in the last video pointed it out but this is the longest fight in the entire series so far, and its the one thing holding it back, i like to nickname it the cock tease tussle

I completely forgot that Brook and Chopper were unaware that Pedro was dead. I felt especially bad for Brook since he and Pedro had such a strong bond. However, Jimbei was 100% correct. No one has ever humiliated Big Mom like this, regardless if he'd lived or not, Pedro may get the last laugh if Luffy and the others manage to escape. What really makes me like and respect Katakuri is that he acknowledges Luffy's strength. No other antagonist up to this point has shown Luffy that kind of respect. Sure, he believes, and rightfully so, that he's better than him, but he also sees the potential within. That's why he's aiming to take him out before he becomes the threat he perceives our rubber boi to be.

There's just something about Jimbei picking Brooke, Nami, Carrot and Chopper up over Pedro's sacrifice....Brooke being the oldest but Jimbei having more experience because Brooke was alone since he was 30. Jimbei is Hall of Fame....recognizing trusting in the Captain. YOSH!

Jimbei is a great addition to the crew because he can be the rock the crew needs, similar to Zoro. It helps that he has experience being a captain too.

Luffy vs Katakuri is a great fight when it is supercut together. Almost an hour of delicious mochi goodness. Still a great fight with all the interruptions, just with extra cock teasing.

Pedro's death must really destroy brook the most, since he's already experienced his crewmates/friends dying 50 years ago in the past. To have to experience it again with pedro after they've had that connection with trying to get the ponegliff at any cost.

Here's some fun trivia. Since Oda is a total troll he likes using puns a lot. Katakuri's bounty is stated as 1,057,000,000, which is WAY higher than Luffy's 500 million, but isn't that number odd? 1.057 billion? The answer is simple. Luffy's devil fruit is the gum gum fruit or the gomu gomu no mi. In japanese go means 5 and mu is a variation of 6 (roku is typically 6 but there are instances where it isn't). So Luffy's devil fruit punnily translates to 56 which is 1 less than 57. Wait let me check my math. (Screams from the far distance and chainsaw noises) Yes. 56 is 1 less than 57. So Luffy is less than Katakuri but only by 1 so it's not too bad.
