Damn, I couldn't wait for this reunion, and it ended up being even more hard-hitting than I had anticipated!

Brother E

In the name of the Mama! The Second Son has arrived! Amen 🙏

remember the first born son was the dude at the book prison licking the big lolipop but when there is a first son there must be a SECOND SON. and remember how much trouble cracker was as a sweet 3 general and remember the girl that drinks pepole also has a higher bounty then cracker and is possibly just as much as threat since she also a sweat 3 but keyword is sweat 3 i just named 2 . this arch is when the animation starts entering its new age. soon your eyes will be blessed with some of the best the animation of one piece and soon you will enter the new era of animation for the series .

So the music playing in the background when Luffy says he will help Sanji crash the wedding as the light shines down on them is the instrumental for the first opening “We Are” Here’s a reminder, if anyone forgot: https://youtu.be/HRaoYuRKBaA The first opening of One Piece “We Are” was incredibly humble, with a simple statement; “these characters are on an adventure to achieve their dreams together and nothing is going to stop them.” (1/2)

Brother E

(2/2) In this story arc, Sanji thought that sentiment was crushed by Big Mom’s overwhelming power. What Luffy did here was reaffirm Sanji’s belief in that simple sentiment that’s been there since Episode1. Having the instrumental of We Are is a symbol of that. The enemies may be more powerful, more devious, and the plot has more moving parts, BUT deep down the idea is still the same; these characters are on an adventure to achieve their dreams together, NOTHING is going to stop them.

The upcoming fights are going to be pretty damn fantastic. I'm excited for you and I can't wait to see your reactions 😁. It's so hard to pick a favorite fight in this series but hot damn the main fight in this arc edges them all out just a bit for me.

ah yes the legend katakuri has arrived a mjaor fan favorite its to point were religion in the fanbase have been formed to honor the man know as the Second son of MAMA. Let us also assume since smoothie had a higher bounty than cracker we simply started with the least impressive general to the most impressive general . All hail the Second son Amen. this goes to shows the empors underlings are substantial in deed including the ones in groups of 3 like kaidos 3 monster as stated during the zou arch . or big moms sweat 3. crazy how we use to think arlong was a threat.

You could call this the end of act 2 to the arc; Sanji and Luffy resolve to save the Vinsmokes and crash Big Mom's wedding. Meanwhile, Big Mom's deadliest son arrives. Even while watching your reaction I got chills seeing him again. Katakuri is a monster among men. I'd argue he almost makes Doffy a pushover.

As we meet more and more of Mom's crew, the feeling of dread gets stronger and stronger for me!

kind of surprised that 1) curtis didn't remember the parallels between both luffy and sanji's mom eating sanji's "bad food" and 2) curtis wasn't upset that sanji wanted to save his family

This scene was for me, to the surprise of many people, the 2nd hardest hitting scene in the show so far. I've talked about this before but i'm completely desensitized to backstories, they just don't affect me emotionally at all, Law's was the only one that got close so far (Half because Nami's backstory i saw before i even started the show, which was the only one that might've affected me, and half because tragic backstories are overdone in this series imo) So in general, it hits me much much harder when hard hitting things happen to characters in current time. Merry's sinking was the hardest hitting one for me, but this scene is a very close second. Just the constant buildup and feeling of depression and hopelessness throughout the arc because these two have been separated for so long, and Sanji just frantically searching among the bodies for Luffy. And then he finally finds him, and Luffy just smiles up faintly at him while literally on the brink of death. That just hit really really hard. On a positive note, bless the appearance of the 2nd Son, we offer our prayers because apparently the fandom has established a religion around this dude. Im very interested to see what Curtis' thoughts on him will be going forward.

Playing the orchestral 'We Are' opening over Sanji and Luffy reuniting is just beautiful and.... Ohhhhh no....he's here....Hello there Katakuri 😁

The main man just showed up

SpazBoysComedy

Nah, that doesn’t upset me. Just because it’s not how I would have felt in that situation, I get that others feel a connection based solely on shared blood.
