He has a very real opportunity to get laid here for once, maybe even twice. And with someone as beautiful as Pudding no less! I mean come on, can any of us say we wouldn't be charging full steam ahead? Saving your friends is clearly the cherry on top. Or maybe I'm just a horny bastard, who can say.

From what we saw with this episode I think Sanji is serious about this girl. I think he honestly wants to make her happy and has found something to be happy about despite being forced by his father and brother to go through with all this.

Its both really, he knows the only way to save his friends is to marry Pudding, so he's trying his best to be happy about it and make the best of the situation. Granted, its not very difficult, given Pudding's 'assets'.
