What a brilliant means for a refresher! And what a phenomenal pair of Shogi playing narrators!  😄

Hey Curtis just letting you know, Slime diaries ends on Tuesday, I don’t know if you planning on watching but it’s timeline is between season 1 and 2 if u are planning on it

Brandon Nowakowski

I asked this too. He's not planning on doing it right now, just Season 1 and what's done of Season 2.

Brandon Nowakowski

Yeah, Komugi probably could take Veldora...if she played Shogi. Shikamaru, on the other hand...

Chris Johnson

Don't let this game of shogi distract you from the fact that he is: "One of the True Dragons, the strongest beings in the world, Storm Dragon Veldora!"

little info, at this point in the story it's been about 2 years since Rimuru first came to this world and set up the village, so those 2 have been playing Shogi that long. In the manga Veldora's Journal is a chapter at the end of each volume, and it's far more detailed as well, for example when Veldora meets Ifrit, Ifrit actually didn't have much free will or intelligence of his own if I remember right, he's actually given it via Veldora and Rimuru's great sage ability, making him a proper free and sentient being with his own will, also Great Sage is a character in the journal as well, he's the one pushing Veldora's ability to break his prison, and also forces Ifrit through hellish training to grow stronger, both of them fear the sage because of the hell he puts them through to do their work instead of slacking off. we also found out through Veldora that the Dwarf king can read minds, that's why the king trusts Rimuru when he's on trial, though for some unknown reason involving the Great Sage the king is unable to read the deeper parts of Rimuru's mind.

Does the Great Sage have a gender? The voice is female, but it's pretty much artificial being. You used 'he' pronoun. (Sorry to be that "Did you just assume their gender"-guy 😂)
