Since it’s coming up on the end of S1, has there been any discussion of what to do about the post-season canon material?

The chills i get during the entrance every time.... my favorite part of the ending is the fact that Ippo was going to start off charging sendo during their first fight but got too scared and backed off. The character growth is real

I don't know if you are aware of this but after this first season of Hajime no Ippo, there are two movies you should watch before moving on to the next season. They are canon to the story.

Yea, I loved his aggression here. Being an episode ahead, I can say, though, I wish he'd continue it.

Ippo comes out to meet Sendo but Sendo starts to retreat, if Takeshi goes back an inch further he’ll wind up in a ring side seat. Sendo keeps backing but there’s not enough room, it’s only a matter of time before Ippo lowers the BOOM. Ippo swings with a left Ippo swings with a right, just Look at that kid carry the fight. Now Ippo lands with a right, what a Beautiful swing as the punch lifts Sendo clean out of the ring. Sendo’s still rising but the referee was a frown, for he can’t start counting till Sendo comes down. Sendo starts to fade out of sight and crowd begins to get frantic but our Radar signals have picked him up, he’s some where’s over the Atlantic. Who would have thought when they’d come for the fight, that they would witness the launching of an Asian satellite.
