I was honestly and truly touched by this story! Damn, the storytelling and visuals in here are absolutely brilliant!

I don’t think I have ever been fascinated by dialogues I don’t fully understand until I saw The Monogatari series.

I almost cried again watching hachikuji return home

This was indeed amazing Spaz Dad. Back when I first watched episode 5, I had to rewatch it to understood the story as I wasn't a quick reader so I'd miss dialogue. It's was such a great story arc and I enjoyed the simple edits they made, like playing slow version of the opening song to Mayoi's arc when she arrived to her home and Senjogahara's opening song right after Mayoi's scene ended.

I cried manly tears when hachikuji went home, I watched this when I was deployed in the Army so I was feeling home sick. But yea, don't worry, there will be plenty more of ghost girl in the future.

It isnt possible for you to react to the openings? For this series the opening changes every arc and its always centered on the focus character of the arc as well as sung by that characters voice actress (in the characters voice). They can sometimes be quite meaningful and certainly very interesting and giving a feeling and impression of the character and for the arc. For example the last one was a song called "Staple Staple", this opening is a song called, translated, "The Road Home". The openings are actually a very unique part of Monogatari and the experience since no other show does things like this. And the openings are quite different from what one can be used to to say the least...

Just a reminder! Araragi used to be a vampire which is why his wounds heal so fast and he could see things farther then most humans could. whenever he taps into those powers his eyes turn red

And opening and closing music in anime is the most common target of copyright claims and MUCH tougher to defend than the episode itself.

Everything Nisio Isin writes somehow ends up a masterpiece. It really needs a different kind of person to write something like monogatari.
