Wow, what a great story, and what an excellent, very honest ending! Adding these final 4 episodes has GREATLY increased my love of this show!

The anime actually only covered half of the novels btw. This is almost just the midpoint of the sourcematerial. I wonder if they explain Heartseed in the novels🤔 (dont answer that). Well, Im off to read them. Eventually.

I love this show... Literally my only problem with it is that Heartseed is never expanded on at all. Asshole characters can be fine, but he's an asshole without a purpose. It feels kind of like the creator had all these great characters, but the story was only half-formed, is the impression the anime gives. Which sucks... but I do love the journey.

You can find them on bookwalker or lots of other places digitally but you should be able to find them physically as well. If you google it you should find the publisher and it'll say all the platforms that has them. Like app store or google.play. Otherwise I think you can just find them in stores of that type if physical is your thing. I bought volumes 2-5 on a recent sale at bookwalker for maybe 14 usd? Its over now though but they have them every now and then, ones that include volumes 1-5 are rare though. But 50% off all light novels (maybe sometimes 70?) might not be all that rare🤔 Otherwise as stated you can find them in stores that have Light Novels probably. Hopefully this helps you or anyone else interested in reading them here!

As stated above, the anime only covers half of the novel series. That being said I cant say they'll explain things in the novels either, I dont know.

My goal in life is to find a girl that loves me as much as Inaba loves Taichi. This version of the sub left out a good joke. In the bit where she keeps saying "I love you." They also throw in this little gem "Make love to me!" I thought it fit because it's been established that Inaba is a little naughty.

Thank you for all the info! I don't usually read manga or anything digitally, but I feel like light novels can be kind of hard to find.

I just did a little more research. There's actually a manga series AND a light novel series, which is interesting, because they all seem to tell the same story. The novels have twice as many volumes, though.

Schmul Sjifris

It probably depends on where you live? I can order them just fine from our normal bookstore site or probably find some of them in the nearest store with some focus on manga and anime. And I live in Sweden, we dont really have things like Light novel or manga stores here at all. And there's always import from other countries in bulk if nothing else. Since the site I use to buy Light Novels digitally often has massive sales I often use that, takes up less space too. If I were to buy the physical ones I'd have to pay as much for 1 book as I did for books 2-5 digitally on sale but that's where I live. The digital ones are generally cheaper though Im quite sure and I would think more likely to be on sale often than the physical ones. Of course if you dont wanna use money maybe there are some fantranslations to find, should be but they might have gotten taken down since the series is licensed in english. Welp, there's a bunch of info for you. Hope you feel a bit enlightened!

In the case of Kokoro Connect the last book (think its the last?) was just released this or last month I think? So the manga might be just lagging behind and will cover the whole story eventually. Might not.

Yea, I agree. The lack of exposition on Heartseed was puzzling. As you mentioned, still a GREAT show, though, with awesome characters!

SpazBoysComedy

LOL! Yup, that would have fit perfectly... Particularly when, the whole deepest desires thing started, she was ripping her clothes off. :-D

Was this just the show or the ovas as well didnt realize it was a LN series ive been burned on quite a few that were basically just ads for the LN like i wanted to know more but there are no translations of a bunch

RyssaVionus

The first 13 episodes were the TV series. These last 4 are OVAs.

I finally made time to watch this. These last four were fantastic to watch! Thanks Ryssa for letting us know about these episode because they really were needed to get a better appreciation for the anime.

Yeah, mangas are usually behind since many series usually start as a light novel, followed by either a anime or manga adaptation. Sort of like SAO, started as a light novel, then started up the anime and manga at almost the same time. Clearly the manga had a faster pace since there was so much material for it to go by. I'll most likely look for the novels to continue the series since I find them more entertaining to read than manga as it fun having your brain do all the illustrations for you. Trust me, SAO was so much more entertaining reading than it was watching the show. Reading the Mother's Rosario arc was very emotional unlike the show, I didn't even shed a tear..

RyssaVionus

Thank you (belatedly) for sponsoring the rest of them so quickly! :D I can't believe he got to see them all in just one month. I'm glad you enjoyed them. The series really doesn't feel complete without these last four.
