Zoro may have some reservations, but Tashigi looks like slashing Bird Legs will be just fine with her!

Fair enough. Well she really aint the picture of grace under open fire? How does that saying go? But... So... Goodlooking... *No, I am not saying they shouldnt beat her up or that she doesnt have an asskicking earned. One might assume I mean that I take her side or want to protect her or whatnot but thats not it.

Honestly if the kids weren't in this story and Caeser was just a mad scientist who produced weapons with monet as his assistant I probably wouldn't have hated her but this episode showed she didn't care about the kids and was fully complacent in getting kids drugged up and killed. I guess that definitely put her on my hate list I just figured she was a character written to not sympathize with.

One could see her like that. I dont personally think she's really written not to sympathize with. Doing bad things as she may she is the least clearly evil or scumbaggy villain in this arc (Ceasar Vergo), she does bad things but only under orders unlike Ceasar and Vergo. And then there are other things for example what has been said of her by Oda in the manga QA. You dont have to sympathize with her but I wouldnt say she's written not to sympathize with. I do a fair bit and I'm sure a lot of other people do. I don't think that's accidental on Odas part.

On a side note I never got why the gas never ignited if it in a liquid form was combustible. Why would the gas not be flammable too?

Ah you see, REASONS. Maybe it needed to be solid to trigger that effect and the gas is spread to thin with the substance for it to ignite. Like eat a poison mushroom die, breath in some scattered in the air, not as bad. I think we might need to find our own answer to this one🤔

Maybe we can just assume Ceasar made it so it wouldnt explode in gas form since it wouldnt be able to travel over the hot parts of the island or wouldnt be able to fulfill its purpose as poison gas if it could be detonated? Ceasar did SOMETHING since he's such a smart chap so that it wouldnt blow up.

Not sure where The Gooshers stand on this, but as we all know Oda doesn’t like to ship characters, which is ironic since he met his own wife when she was cosplaying as Nami. Nonetheless I really ship Zoro and Tashigi, Two Swordsman looking to be the best and that connection Zoro has with her looking like his old childhood rival Kuina. I wouldn’t mind seeing them end up together by the end of the series.

When in its gaseous form, the gas bonds with Nitrogen in the atmosphere and achieve a more stable molecular form. This makes the gas far less reactive to things like flame. And I don't know if any of what I just said is true, but I believe it.

Probably the same reason hydrogen and oxygen are both highly flammable, if not outright explosive, but put them together and you get water which you use to put OUT fires.
