This episode proves that the World Government is not as corrupt or evil as you might think lad. What I mean is that the scientist of said world government where trying to stop ceaser from creating a literal weapon of mass destruction that will kill pirates and civilians as alike. Even Vegapunk himself stopped and then arrested ceaser for creating such a thing. It shows they care somewhat about the well-being of the average joe. The world government itself, I hope, is not all that corrupt. The real problem are the celestial dragons who wouldn't give a flying fuck if this weapon was used against regular people. Now with akainu it is a different story. I want to believe that he would use that weapon but against pirates and pirates only. He's ruthless but only to pirates. Again this is me trying to be optimistic. Also lad you just met the single most important character in one piece hehehehe. The one who will bring the dawn. Hehehehe I could say more but then I'll go into spoiler territory. As a side note, that is the only actual appearance of Vegapunk in the entire story of one piece. Till this day he hasn't been fully introduced or revealed yet.

The name Vegapunk reminds me how much i hate the one from Street Fighter seriously that guy is the worst i would always get stuck on him SF2 for like half an hour and i usually could only beat him with Chun Li

Sadly the goal for Luffy and Law is to KIDNAP Caesar. So they don't want to straight up kill him. Beat him unconscious and KEEP kicking the shit out of him like our samurai did to that dragon? That's perfectly fine. The question still remains, WHY does Caesar need to be kidnapped?

Curtis may have is opinion now but Cesar clown shot up my rankings of favorite characters in one piece after this arc
