The mutineers and deserters misunderstand one thing about Thorkell, he doesn't play by their rules. The dude's a Blood Knight of the worst kind, he lives to fight even if his opponent has already given up. Why would he accept them handing over the Prince when he could just take him by force?

Nah, he really lives for a good fight. He just isnt interested in cowards. He is happy when he has a good challenge. If you look, he seemed pretty bored when he killed these guys.
