This hit me like a ton of manure! I hadn't even considered that, eventually, either Too-Too-Roo or Christina would have to die!

The do-overs remind me off the trick in gaming console emulators where you can go back to a previous state to keep trying until you succeed.

Yeah... that moment of realization hits like a truck. I kind of feel for Mr. Braun too. He grabbed a lifeline out of misery but now that he has a daughter he can't escape it without harming her.

I mean, it was the first D-mail and it changed everything. So really, it was just everyone of us forgetting this most important one.

In the Visual Novel, the Mr Braun stuff is much darker. They don't leave Mr. Braun's house, and Mr. Braun doesn't shoot Moeka. Nae kills Moeka with a butcher knife, revealing that she has been time leaping from 2025, the year Okabe dies. She reveals that she tortured Okabe to death and came back to take revenge on Moeka for betraying her father and on Okabe because she hates him.

actually not a fan for putting such a big spoiler here for the VN. Some Gooshers might want to play it, or are in the middle of playing it.

To quote Kirito from SAO Abridged: I'm sick and tired of you kicking my heart in the dick!

I said every girl has different ending with Okabe, but now that I think about it (and read wiki) there actually isn't one for Moeka. (Probably because she was villain/antagonist* most of the series) *Actually by definition Moeka is actually Villain and NOT Antagonist.. Antagonist: "a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone" Villain: "the person or thing responsible for SPECIFIC trouble, harm or damage." But this imo contradicts what is said earlier?? So to recap, villains are: Evil. They have evil motivation and evil actions to match. Aren't necessarily opposed to the protagonist. In fact, they can be a protagonist. "Villain" is a character type, not a plot role. Antagonists are: Not necessarily evil. The can actually be really decent guys who just happen to have a conflicting agenda with the protagonist. Opposed to the protagonist. They cause conflict with the story's main character. "Antagonist" is a plot role and doesn't say anything about the character's personality or motivations.
