I'm really anxious to see if Heartseed's latest boredom is actually beneficial to Inaba. And if so, was it intentional?

I get that Heartseed is creepy and the villain you hate. For some reason though, I actually find him kind of funny.

You know, rewatching this episode now made me start considering things I hadn't before. Such as: They never really talk about it, but you can see that Inaba is considerably better off, financially, than her friends. It's made me wonder if that has something to do with why she's so closed off in general. If it's created some sort of divide between herself and her classmates in the past. Maybe she doesn't trust people because she's run into those who just wanted to be around her for the material things? But that's just a theory. (Also, it felt further substantiated if you consider that the woman you hear near the end announcing Heartseed's arrival may have been a maid or something, rather than her mother. Because I don't know about you... But I'd never bring a male teacher up to my daughter's bedroom for a surprise visit late at night. That scene's a little creepy on more than one level.)

I like all your observations... And yea, I completely agree on the whole teacher in the daughter's room thing. I let that go without comment for the sake of the plot, but that was definitely odd!
