I believe that Suzuha had a happier ending now thanks to Okabe sending the D-mail since she didn't try to kill herself in this world line. Since the time machine worked as it should she never got amnesia for 25 years and she didn't "forsake her duty and live a carefree life". Her suicidal thoughts and mental instability were due to the fact of her remembering who she was in her last year of life. The mental strain it put on her during that year... I'm glad Okabe was able to at least spare her of that.
