Okarin taking what SERN has learned and beating them at their own time travel game would be really cool!  :-D

The surprising thing about the banana is that it returned to the other bananas rather than turning to a gelnana while staying in the microwave. They managed to move it back through its own timestream. So it moved in 4 dimensions at once, rather than the 1 dimension of time as you would expect.

No fireworks? It is getting more and more clear to me that this future is just no fun.

I love the word-play for how Kyoma came up with the name "Christina" for Makise: Japan has three writing systems, but the two that are important for us are Kanji—which are used for Japanese words and names—and Katakana—which is used for spelling out foreign words (including names) in Japanese. (It would be like if we had a different set of characters for all words we got from French—they'd still be pronounced the same, just different symbols to make the French words easier to identify.) Kurisu's name is supposed to be written in Kanji like most Japanese names, but it also JUST SO HAPPENS to be how the name "Chris" would be spelled in katakana. And when a girl is named Chris, it's often a shortening of Christina. Hence Kurisu-->Chris-->Christina. I love the logical train that he took to get there, the fact that he NEVER explains this, and the subtle insult in it (implying that she's not Japanese, so her name should be using katakana instead of kanji).

I love the interaction between Okabe and Kurisu about this. And one translation I have seen is Kurisu saying: "There's no -tina"

Get social skills to a guy with like 20 young hotties following him around. Obvi that was moment that every group of friends have when they are just feeling each other out to see how well they can take a good ribbing. She likes to dish it out but could t take it there. Finding boundaries is a huge part of relationship building.
