HAIKYU vs. FIST OF THE NORTH STAR (Patreon)

Marvel Knight has been sponsoring, alternately, Haikyu and FOTNS. He's decided to go forward with one at a time, and he'd like to know which one you guys would prefer, so please let your preference be known in the attached poll.  :-)

I’m an old school anime guy, so my choice has to clearly be the grandfather of anime “Fist of the North Star”. But I clearly know Haikyu will win this poll simply because of how popular it is currently.

FOTNS is a classic, but I love Haikyu too much to not vote for it to continue. Not because it's popular or "new", but because it's actually a really great show.

You should make 1 a daily if possible and let the other be monthly

Personally I would prefer to wait until Haikyu can get a actual daily spot. It has quite alot of episodes and is a seriously great show. The Goosher spots fit better to either short shows or comedy or stuff like that. At least thats how I feel about it.

I agree. Having to wait weeks for more is also going to be a drag as we get further into the series and get into more dramatic episodes. I'm grateful however to Marvel Knight for sponsoring, otherwise Curtis may never watch the show in any shape or form.

Personally, I went for Haikyuu because it's shorter. I could see FOTNS getting voted in in the polls one day. It would take forever to get through it only doing one episode/month.

No contest Haikyuu! While I love the classic that is Fist Of The Northstar, Haikyuu is a much better show.

Guys, vote FOTNS. Haikyuu blatantly will not work as a monthly series. This is a bad move.

Fist of The North Star (Any version) is just a better series to react to, more outrageous shit happens, it's not unfinished still (in terms that matter), much more action and fighting.... just.... go with FOTNS, nobody loses

While I haven't seen Haikyu, it's probably a safer bet since FOTNS is over 150 episodes vs Haikyu's 70 plus. That would free you up to watch other series, since you're already doing both One Piece and Bleach. On the other hand, FOTNS is a classic and pillar of Shonen manga/anime. And it has some of the best death sequences of any series.
