Mami's soul gem was in a hair ornament, so when Charlotte went all tootsie pop owl on her it went as well.

You think the cars driving next to one another is weard? Not that every person in this show has like 5 chairs of different design randomly standing in their room? Or that Sayaka's and Madoka's parents obviously have no problem with their underage daughters leaving the house at or after sundown?^^

I think the peculiarities of the characters was a given. Perfectly coordinated traffic struck me as definitely not a given.

Fun fact; The "DDR" that Kyoko was playing is actually named "Dog Drug Reinforcement" Reason? No clue lol. Also this is the first time I've heard Kyubey get compared to Ryuk, but I can definitely see it up to this point lol. So we were shown here that the type of wish someone has can affect a magical girl's power. With Sayaka she has the ability to heal. Mami's wish was to survive but this wish gave her ribbons as her magic power, which is more of a symbolic take on the wish, rather than just giving her healing abilities. So this might get you thinking about what Kyoko and Homura's wishes were based on their powers :D Also a quick note about episode 5 since this is the best time to mention it, we can clearly see that Kyoko was pissed off when Sayaka blamed her for Mami's death. The reason behind this isn't explained in the anime, but is explained in official extra content that goes into Mami and Kyoko's backstory. Just thought you might be interested in a little heads up about it since the anime never looks into it. This comment is already too long lol. Great reaction and I'm looking forward to next month!

I love getting the more inside stuff. It makes the show even more fun and the characters even more interesting. 😊

One thing I forgot to mention is that Homura mentioned she wanted to work together with Kyoko to take out a witch named Walpurgisnacht (Have fun saying that word :D). Walpurgisnacht is German for Walpurgis night. In German folklore, this occurs on the night of April 30 and during this time witches meet up on a mountain. So this gives some real life background on what in the world Homura might be talking about for this thing with a hard to pronounce name lmao. But who knows what the show plans to do with it? :D
