I’m a simple man, whenever I see the title include ‘Gintama’, you have my full undivided attention. In all seriousness we NEED to fit Gintama onto the watching list soon. That’s a must watch, every episode including it’s filler.

Obviously I second this. It’s sense of humor is perfect for Curtis and it’s serious writing is incredible. I am, however, glad it was/is down the road, so that Curtis will understand more anime references (bleach for instance).

•The author’s favorite animal is a lowland western gorilla just for the fact that it’s full scientific name is “Gorilla Gorilla Gorilla,” and portrays himself as one. •Konishi is a reference to Gintama’s 1st editor, Onishi. •The whole make “Gintaman like DBZ” thing is a roast on both the SJ editorial dept. and readers, who in the beginning constantly complained that Gintama should be more like a generic battle manga than a comedy.

Interestingly enough the Parody Manga gave Gin a named move. Whereas in the actual Manga/Anime Gin never has one. He mostly just hits people. Guess that does qualify as Domestic Violence though. Considering most of the people he hits are his friends and co-workers.

I really hope we get to Gintama soon. It's right up there with the Big 3 and even surpasses them in specific ways. Unfortunately, no one reacts to it. It's comedy is perfect for you, though.
