This show is amazing. I thank God you’re watching a sub the dub killed it. The one thing to know is that the story is done by clamp and they have so many amazing stories and anime from the 80s and 90s. They even cross over a few times though don't call it out all the time lol. Hopefully you stay to the Pure side of clamp anime xD

Yea, I was wondering about that at the end. Initially, I thought it might be that Sakura was just gaining the ability to see their mom, but of course, that ended up just being a Clow Card.

nice, honestly this one was probably one of my favourite early episodes, Sakura's mum watching over her is such a sweet moment, pretty much all family related episodes are top notch to me. first time I watched it I did misunderstand the brother seeing ghosts thing until the end, I thought him talking about seeing his mum until middle school was just him remembering her you know, like when you lose someone close to you and just keep seeing them in your mind. Also yeah, like mentioned above the sub is so much better, never showing the dub lol, they tried changing the Genre and chopped the series up a ton, removed a lot of episodes including this one to make it less of a magical girl anime and have less focus on Sakura, removed all romance stuff, especially the queer ones and tried making Sakura more of a tomboy it's not quite as bad as a 4kids dub but still not the best.

Even being worthy of the slightest 4Kids comparison is enough to keep me FAR away from the dub!! 😄
