Senku's concerns and Tarzan's edginess due to his history make me worried that maybe he might be a bit of a loose cannon.

Bucciaratti’s VA works well as the voice of an edgy teen caveman.

J Johnson

That's anime for you, even in a show all about science, you still have a character right out of JoJo who's first action is to punch out a pride of lions.

"The science is super accurate in this show!" *Tsukasa pUNCHES A FUCKING LION TO DEATH* ... Ok, but I swear the science is legit

What a surprisingly nice show about science that seems at least mostly grounded in reality anyway here's a Jojos character.

Tarzan's argument is basically anarcho-communism, one of the most ignorant and juvenile ideas mankind has had the misfortune of coming up with. It's no surprise Senku isn't interested in playing along.

SpazBoysComedy

Yea, Tarzan is interesting. He's obviously very bright, but he also allows his emotions - derived from past experience - to dictate some poorly thought-out scenarios.

Your right, Senku did say there was 4 uses for lime. So him not saying the last way to utilize lime in front of Tarzan would be pretty important.

Schmul Sjifris

Young - Good Old - Bad Seems a bit of a oversimplified and perhaps not the best way to measure what should be done but I can agree with the basic idea. Adult have been tainted by modern society, they think in ways and have values that make no sense outside of the current world because theyve grown into this world. The same applies to children but I would think to a lesser degree, children shouldnt be as stuck on the idea and have their mind in the way of the old world to the same extent.

Great another Pillerman

Daniel Gonzalez

Hmm other than his name which I have mistrust for because of a different anime he's saying all the right things he probably is a good guy

To be clear, Tsukasa's issue is not old people, rather his issue is people of the previous generation who are set in their worldview of private ownership, capitalism, taxes, and etcetera. He wants to revive only the young because they aren't set in their ways yet which means he can teach them his own way of thinking, after that they can grow as old as they want. From Tsukasa's perspective, mankind grew too far to a point where overpopulation and the ownership/destruction of nature happened. Now that it's been "reset", he wants to prevent it from getting to that point again by stopping mankind's growth. He wants to maintain nature and the basic hunter-gatherer form of human society.

WHOLESOME DEUS

Communism...apparently nothing can kill it.

SpazBoysComedy

I don’t necessarily disagree with you there. I just don’t think there’s any way to prevent the youngsters from becoming similar to the old guard as time passes... It’s a repeated process throughout mankind.

Daniel Lima

My thoughts exactly communism

This episode is great, the ending had me enthralled and I’ve seen/read it ten times already. Very good tension with almost no action

Tarzan loves the baby boomers!
