Yes. Yes! YES!!! I know your impression at the end is that it's made for a different demographic, and with any other series I'd agree, but give it time. It's easily in my top 10 anime for good reason. If I weren't broke (two 9 month olds will do that) I'd have gone to the 100 and requested it myself. You're in for a ride my friend.

Can confirm, this should be good. Gen Urobuchi is a genius. My only problem is that it came out now, when i still have 7 hours of work before I can go home and watch it.

I think you should hold of a bit before recommending something like this to your granddaughter. Watch a few more eps and see if you think it would be up her alley, since it isnt up everyones. If you wanna recommend something the first one you do should be a good one!^^

The outfit change part is just a stable of magical girl shows. This show is one of the most notable examples of the genre.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show! It does get more intriguing and mature later on, so don't take the first two episodes too seriously, since their both just the prologue.
