The mecha elements of this show are really cool! The personal entanglements are already very interesting!

And that final part also explains why he fell into his job so easily. He is part of the royal family. But yeah, there is a lot more to learn about our MC and the world he inhabits. The first time you watch this it can be really hard to keep everything straight, i saw new things last time i watched it and the number of times i have watched this is in the double digits.

Yea, I'm already finding myself trying to stay extra focused while watching this, as I can see where there's going to be a lot of complicated intrigue. I really like that part of it!... Fortunately, I have you guys watching along with me to help out if I get messed up at any point. :-)

Yeah, there's a lot that goes on from episode to episode. I'm betting some of these characters who seem really insufferable now will grow on you as you get deeper into it. ;)

Rewatching is good, its a bit more complex than a shonen (most). More like Fullmetal than Bleach or Naruto, but there are political factors to consider etc. But we are also here to help you remember things and bring up things you might not notice (a lot of people miss a lot of things when it comes to this show, there is a fair bit of subtext so a lot of things arent stated outright and you have to catch up on them on your own). Anyways. Not only is the boy who wants to destroy Brittannia not Japanese, he's fricking Brittannian royalty! Thats a nice step up in so few episodes. Lets see anything else worth pointing out🤔 Scientist guy has the same voice actor as Gaara. In Japanese the guy is an insane delight; he sounds like a kid in a candy store. Maybe he sounds a bit smarmy to you? He's a fair bit different from the prince guy and the soldiers though. Quite the eccentric. Lelouchs friend is an 11 (as Im sure you noticed). Scientist guy is not part of the military (not area 11s anyways). Maybe they will disapprove of saving someone? Either way, they are not under prince guys command or the racist guys we've seen. They helped him out but prince guy cant command them.

My personal feeling is that Lelouch is similar to Deadpool; antihero. Forgot to comment this yesterday, but with Code Geass Goosh made Johhny Yong Bosch hat-trick

Yeah, they do a good job at giving a lot of the Britannians sort of pompous voices fitting of the aristocrats they are. I imagine that with both this and the previous episode you're probably picking up on the heavy chess themes and references. Even the names he referred to people as during that fight (B-1, K-1, etc.) are the same as chess pieces. And finally, a very strong NANI?! at the end there.

When will you watch MHA season 4?

Yeah, that's why he mentioned incurring a favor he didn't want to owe to his elder brother by accepting their help.

SpazBoysComedy

I enjoy it when that happens... It's fun to have my perception of a character notably progress. :-)

SpazBoysComedy

It's funny how, even though I find those pompous voices annoying, I have to admit that they perfectly fit the characters. :-)

yes you really should rewatch episodes. maybe write down things. There is a lot of info to remember and its easy to forget things.
