Duval unfortunately looks like the guy from Sanji's wanted poster. And that's why bounty hunters and Marines came after him, saying he (Duval) was Black Foot Sanji! That's why Duval hates Sanji.

Yeah, being wanted for 77 mill when you're just a smalltime dude made things a teeny bit uncomoftable for him with the navy tracking him down and attacking hin trying to capture him.

Yeah, its just supposed to be "that was so long ago" or "that was a while ago". Sanji is still the same age as when he left I would think. At least, a year hasnt passed, certainly not 3. Though the timeline in OP is a bit wonky in the manner of time passing because so little time has actually passed its silly.

(Reveal spoiler) I did from a past memory flash 10 seconds before his face was revealed xD. I gave up trying to figure it out before he mentioned "Sanji" (Okay well now its narrow, I'll try again) lol. Thought he was talking about Luffy or Zoro the whole time. >.<

Ah, you're finally getting to the best of One Piece, using food as an analogy Water 7 and Enies Lobby were like the starters giving you an early look at the upcoming quality, Thriller Bark was like the wait before the main arrived and now you've got multiple arcs in a row that can be considered main courses coming up.

First time I've every commented on one of your posts, I just feel so excited for you right now. This arc, and the following arcs of it, is the start of One Piece. I mean, all the other Arcs before it have been great, but kind of insular. Self contained, not really that important to the rest of the story of One Piece. You are about to meet a shit tonne of people who will be involved in One Piece for the rest of the series. Start to meet truly powerful characters that will shape who the Straw Hat crew become. All the arcs from now will start to tie into each other, the people you are about to meet will be involved in multiple arcs, not just the one. This is where One Piece really starts. Congratulations, you've made it. Enjoy the ride to come.
