The Nebraska Family sure is weird. Daddy is a toothless mad scientists, Mom is a giant woman, you have 1 giant son like Mom, 3 sons who are cannon balls, then SOMEHOW Mom and Dad made that blonde daughter. I guess 1 out of 5 kids not being genetic freaks aint too bad.

Idk how to feel about with this episode. I'd rather have my parents alive with me then any amount money or land no matter how sentimental. and sure complying with ppl like that might be morally wrong but seeing how from a logical stand point they had no chance of getting out alive it's just stubbornness. I can definitely see both sides of the argument here but honestly they put their son in a no win situation. it only worked out because of Vash and the gang showing up. Kinda curious how everyone else feels. would you have stayed and let your family die but at least its together or sold the land and lived another day with everyone?

I liked how things went. the parents spent 20 years caring for the land in order to get it to that point and now they have someone they know doesn't understand how to properly tend to the land demanding it from them. If they take the offer then they know that those 20 years were for nothing. All that time and energy just to watch it most likely get abused to the point plants no longer grow. It also shows at the end the land and all the work put into it was for future generations. They gave their youth to build that stable foundation for their son and his kids after to have and take care of and live off of and death to them is a better outcome than to give up all that work.

I do actually know what goodnight John boy is from. It’s from the TV show Walton’s I grew up watching it as a kid with my family. My last name is actually Walton and the mother Michael Learned is actually my grandmothers cousin. So while Michael Learned play a Walton on TV my Grandmother became an actual Walton hahaha.
