Something interesting I noticed while you watching Subbed. Jim refers to Gene as Aniki, which they translate as him just calling him Gene. Aniki actually is a way of addressing an older brother or superior. Sort of like how Simone from Gurren Lagann always referred to Kamina as bro. I just think that adds an interesting dimension to the characters that's kind of lost in translation.

The grappler arms is what made this show stand out with its space combat. One fight in particular is really cool because of them.
