It took Valentine's Day to get it done, but Kurasuma finally moved on Prof. Bitch! And the Kayano - Nagisa connection is too cute!

Anyone get the calm before the storm with this episode?

Oh trust me, you've only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kurasuma and Professor Bitch. As for ships, I actually always wanted Nakamura and Karma to get together. They seem like they'd be a great couple, they have trolling people in common.

Kurasuma is a true master of picking up girls slowly. He managed to pull professor bitch to a point where she just casually throws away cultural taboos for him.

Just a bit of light and fluffy fun before it picks back up. On to the manga expansions, but boy, are there a lot. The last few episodes, I haven't had much to write.This time, though.... Korosensei dressed up as Santa for a winter slumber party at the school. While the children slept, naturally, he snuck in and tried to give out presents. But what self respecting assassin lets some stranger creature walk around their room while they sleep, so he ran into a swarm of knives. Very sad. During the new years bit, Korosensei was watching some good old fashion new years specials he created, played by an army of his own clones, while teh children took shot at him. Good times. During the winter break and January, Korosensei was whispering into the children's ears at mach 20, implanting thoughts of studying and entrance exams into their heads while they were trying to make sense of whether to take him out or working on the Outer Space trip, etc. He also made some mock tests for each individual school that the students would be applying to, so that they would have an idea of what to expect on the real deal. You may have heard in the episode, but if you listen closely, after Sakura tells Nagisa he's a teacher, when Nagisa is doing his inner monologue, Sakura is in the background saying that, if he doesn't' want to, she wouldn't mind him being her good for nothing boyfriend. The students received the results from their first choice schools. Nagisa was put on the waiting list, Karma aced it (shocking, I know), and Takabaiyashi failed his. Which led into a hilarious scene where the class is trying to avoid agitating him with words like fail or drop out, etc. But they're so bad at it, he eventually snaps pulls out a massive machine gun and opens fire on Korosensei declaring that he's not going to let one failure get him down. He has a second blade, after all. At the end, Professor Bitch comes, completely unaware, and starts saying them too, leading the entire class to attack her. For Valentine's day, there's a couple more students giving out chocolates. The rest of the class, realizing that Korosensei is always following behind any students who pair up (he loves gossip, if you remember), start lying in wait to ambush him when he's trying to sneak pictures of the 'couple'. Unfortunately, Maehara (Blonde Lady Killer) never told Okano (Brunette athletic girl who's got a anti-sensei knife in her shoe) that him inviting her out was for an assassination, so she got mad when the moment was ruined by an Octopus running into the room to avoid knives. She kicked the chocolates into his face and stormed out. Korosensei orders him to make up with her and recieve chocolate properly or else he'd have no choice but to include the words 'play boy' in his permanant student record. Realizing that he's in trouble, Maehara tries to make up with her, but she's not having it. Sadly, the resulting argument takes out Nagiasa via a chair shot to the face (Curtis, you can relate, I'm sure). Finally, at the end of the day, Maehara tries just talking to her, not to save his record, but because he didn't like that he wasn't able to properly accept her feelings. She doesn't believe him, he counters saying that he's learned alot about her from watching her over the last year. Naturally, he mostly lists off how she reacts angrily to any slight, up to and including when seriously provoked, she goes for the throat with the anti-sensei knife she has hidden in her shoe. She, being seriously provoked, goes for the throat with an anti-sensei knife. He takes a bite out of it because he'd replaced her knife with chocolate that morning, Thus, he successful received chocolate from her and his record is saved. They share a touching moment and she knees him in the face. Korosensei is looking forward to how much closer they'll grow by graduation. As was implied at the end of the episode, Nakarmua did have a bit of a crush on Nagisa, but she's not going to muscle in on Kayano's man. Finally, since you said you don't watch the intro, just a small detail, during the intro, the number of days until Korosensei's deadline is displayed on the blackboard, and it changes with each episode as we move closer to the climax.

Reminder that Kurasama was never blind to Professor Bitch. He was just putting his (arguably important, life or death) job first. Now that his job is almost over, he can afford to put some attention on two other "jobs".
