Misa also got Jealous's lifespan which likely add minimum 100 years to her natural life so even if shes only lets say 20 and was supposed to die. She now had 120 MINIMUM lifespan after being saved. So the eye deal for her is easy to make and Rem was fine doing it.

Though that would put her in the normal human lifespan range. But for all we know, jealous could have done a ton of work before hand and given her something like 1000 years.

Just wait and see... Everything will stop being confusing. But i love how they intricately made sure that L had decent reasoning behind every single choice he makes. He has someone follow light, who suddenly makes contact with Misa after she has sent her video. That makes her the main suspect for being the second kira and further supports Lights guilt. Then he takes a surprisingly long time to say the whole "If i die one of these days" thing. Hell, even Misa meeting Light just when he met L supports Lights guilt even though that was pure coincidence, as if Light is kira he would want the second kira to meet L.

so he liked learning that if you give up one death note you loos your memory of it. He has 2 now. I sort of wish I could remember what will happen next but it is more exciting if I don't

Light seems to not fear Ryuk in the slightest. (Largely because Ryuk is pretty much his room-mate). But Rem on the other hand is probably the most terrifying creature he's ever encountered. A Shinigami that absolutely despises him and is waiting for the chance to kill him.
