What a powerful episode! Katara didn't make the same choice I would have in that situation, but hers was very respectable!... And it was cool seeing her and Zuko actually able to come together.

I WATCH AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER AT AMAZON PRIME: amazon.com/The-Boy-in-the-Iceberg/dp/B000GFD4C0/

Andrew Lolavar

I just realized that Curtis is gonna hate Aang's last arc of the series.... Can't blame him, the majority of people i know hate it.

PKKite

I know alot who like it because it's diffrent from the status quo and fits character.

PKKite

One reason humans stagnate in progress is all the eye for a eye revenge.

Curtis here's a fun little fact: when Zuku Visited Sokka and he was laying down all sexy waiting for Suki, The next day Sokka is using a flower necklnce symbolizing Suki got deflowered and he got "leid" Our boy got some suki that night :D

I don’t know why but when she stops the rain it gives me a little chills. I don’t think it showed but was it a full moon?

Anonymous

You know Sokka is a teenager when even talking about his dead mother doesn't make him any less horny lol

Lance Zehnder

I would disagree. Anything that can motivate someone to do something has helped progress in some way.

GoldArthur

I'm fine with revenge, but I think she did more to him by calling out how pathetic he was, disgracing his military career, and then leaving him there pissing himself, so he can get back to his pathetic life.

Liesmith

Angry Katara's undivided attention is a pretty scary thing to have.

GoldArthur

Also, IMO, Azula seemed a bit more unhinged here than usual. Way more brash and direct than usual. Always thought that was a neat detail, considering she was just betrayed by her brother and then her two closest friends.

I'm pretty sure that katara was satisfied with how pathetic the guy was. That's why she spared him. If she had seen him living his best life she would probably find it easier in her to kill him.

PKKite

Pains primary reasoning was justice and revenge for the rain village. By that logic pain did nothing wrong.

This is definitely not a kids show,... Sokka and Sukie were clearly gonna bang 😂 oh and the Katara part was pretty, intense too.

Gabriel Phipps

So did Toph get a free show of sokka and suki? Also Sokka’s tent had a slanted rock side so was Aang a bro and help him out?

Jake from SF

After seeing how pathetic the guy is, death is too good for him. I'm like you where I believe that once you're dead, you're dead. That's it, nothing else after. Let him live in misery for the rest of his life. Once he dies, his misery is over.

SpazBoysComedy

Good observation... I hadn’t really caught that, but you’re right. It’s some pretty impressive writing to see her lashing out due to her losses.

Cetacean Needed

I always want him to go the Vegeta route. "I can't do it." "I can!" *Zuko turns the guy to cinders* "Haha! Victory for Zuko!"

Kyle Bryant

It gets overshadowed by how good the rest of the episode is, but I really want to commend Dante Basco's delivery on those two lines early on, "She's.. not gonna make it." and "Of course she did."

Lewd Angel

It really shows just how far Katara was willing to go and how much she was already lost in anger when finding her moms killer that she even broke her own oath not to use blood bending.

Anonymous

probably considering she can't not see or feel the vibrations. But I am sure that Toph didn't want to make them feel embarrassed so she hasn't said anything.

MtRexX

It's funny when you notice that Zuko went on a road trip with almost every core member of the group. First with Aang to the sun temple, then with Sokka to the prison and now with Katara on a pussy hunt. Will Toph get her road trip though? (I already know the answer btw haha)

Miasimon

Notice how Sokka was wearing a lei at the end? That's a not-so-subtle hint that he just got laid (leid)... now I want you to think about this, Toph can "see" everything.

interested party

Not really, that was his primary motivation. His primary reasoning was “if I give the world nukes then they will use them to kill each other and there will be peace until the next asshole forgets how terrifying nukes are and uses them again restarting the whole process

interested party

EVERYTHING, she can see ants moving across the road. She would be able to see what is happening better then anyone in the tent. She could also see people’s junk since clothes aren’t a barrier to her sight

One of my favorite episodes. Katara is a true badass. It's fun to look at just how much she's grown since the beginning when she could barely even waterbend.

Sigrid

will we get TRINITY SEVEN and SAMURAI CHAMPLO this month or are thous series on hold for now?

Ali6B

"Maybe you can bring my mother back".... I know Zuko felt that one real close to his heart. "You're mother was a brave woman".. One of the underrated lines from Zuko imo. He's trying to comfort Katara with something he's probably said over and over to himself.

SpazBoysComedy

Those are sponsored series, so it just depends when our G100 member sponsoring each of them schedules another. :-)

I like how this whole episode is simply to bring up that one question. But the question itself is not that impactful without the build up of the whole episode behind it. In other words, great writers behind the series.
