Kimblee was telling the truth! His squad was supposed to get to Winry's parents, but not to save them, to kill them. Her parents "betreyed' Amestria by healing Ishvalins and the order came to get rid of them. Too bad Scar did it first. However, Kimblee was also telling the truth that he respected them. They were devoted to their work and belief, that's what Kimblee respects the most.

Kimblee is a very complex character to begin with. He's hard to read for that very reason. But as far as villains goes, he's one of the most interesting for that very same reason.

Kimblee just sees every side and sits out, only engaging for the side that further benefits him when he has to. When you look at it objectively this is 100% the best course of action anyone can take in a situation like this but that said it involves him committing various atrocities. This brings me to why I think people cant bring themselves to hate Kimblee regardless of his crimes. He represents what we could be if only we shed things like morals, social structure, expectations and a sense of duty and watched out only for ourselves and more specifically the things that bring us excitement and pelasure. Its something we all deep down wish we could do but dont because we like the commodities of society way too much and order is needed for society to exist. But Kimblee doesnt care, he embraces this side that we all have and even if we dont agree we cant help but respect it.

Selim in this kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I don't know if it's because I knew he was Pride and thus was thinking "Cut the bullshit, I know what you really are." or if I was just annoyed by his personality. Or rather how they chose to portray him compared to the Manga.

Kimblee is all about keeping to ones code of conduct. He acknowledges that his code may be considered... Immoral by some (most) but he has immense respect for people who also uphold theirs. That's why he genuinely respected the Rockbell's, they choose to honor their code of helping everyone over their lives. As someone else said he's hard to read but an immensely interesting villian

The best way ive heard kimbly explained is hes half a sadistic agent of destruction, and half pragmatic realist. Hey may be a psycopathic mass muderer, but he sees the world, himself, and the people around him for what the really are. And do to this clarity in which he sees the world it would seem to me he hates hypocrites, and people who see the world in their own way, but then dont live up to there idles. Which is why he really did respect the rock bells, even though there worldview was completely different, they stayed true to there beliefs until the very end.

Hey Curtis, did you notice how Ed is now winry's height? it's subtle but Ed started the series at about 5', and Winry is apparently 5'4" which Ed is also now. the way that they subtly made Ed taller and taller is actually incredible

Knowing Pride's identity all along, it has atually been quite fun watching the Bradley family's attempt at being a normal family xD And that was why Selim's age comment in episode 14 almost had me choke. Considering that Selim is about 23x older than Ed, if not more according to FMA wiki lol
