This is where that really subtle foreshadowing pays off big time. I remember having that same Scanners reaction when I first watched this part myself. This is also where it kicks into high gear. Buckle up Curtis, cause this is gonna be a wild ride lol! Also, I'm looking forward to the day you get to see Gurren Lagann, because it's just as much of a rollercoaster.
