Bakugo needs to work through some conflicted feelings the only way he knows how, by beating them senseless.

He meant fighting. He says so in the sub, but the dub script failed to make it clear. (not the first time that's happened)

Honestly, it's even more understandable why Bakugo is so worked up here than in their other encounters. Before, it was just about someone beneath him catching up and even surpassing him, but now, there's the added element of All Might. Bakugo's realized that All Might chose Midoriya as his successor even though All Might met the both of them around the same time, so Bakugo has to deal with the fact that All Might potentially saw Midoriya right from the very beginning as being the better hero and successor out of the two of them or at least having the potential to be. Of course, that might not necessarily be true, but it's how Bakugo perceives it. Having your hero overlook you in favor of someone else like that would really mess with your head.
