Progress: Shoost v0.8.0 (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone.
Finally, it is the year 2023. I'll try my best to make things happen this year! I'd like to introduce some functional experiments I did at the end of last year.
Automatic camera work.
I've been seeing a lot of live feeds using Shoost lately. I'm glad to see you using it so much! I think many live-streaming events are rather long, lasting one hour or two hours or more. So, I tried to see if it is possible to create a screen with movement, not just fixed angles.
For song delivery, it would be nice to be able to do automatic camera work when singing and switch to a fixed camera when talking.
We plan to create several types of camera movements for the automatic camera work function. We also plan to make it possible to specify the speed at which the camera switches. I think it would be good to be able to specify the speed according to the tempo (BPM) of the song.
Functions that move to music.
This is the one I was testing to see if I could create something with the ability to react to music and voice.
This is an attempt to get the music playing in Windows and make it look like a spectrum analyzer. I combined this with a lighting effect to try it out.
It looks good. However, it still needed some adjustments, such as flickering too much, so we are not going to implement it yet. We are planning to think about whether there is a better combination. I have a few ideas, so I'm going to try them out and see if I can make it a better feature.
Shoost v0.8.0 will do its best to add automatic camera work!
