I will explain the ideas and thoughts I had when I created this scene.

limited animation

This time, I tried to create a 3D animation with a limited animation style like Japanese animation. I used a two-frame animation.

The picture changes two frames.

Wide angle lenses and perspective distortion

I used a wide-angle lens to create the momentum coming from the back to the front. The problem here is that shooting with a wide-angle lens creates a stronger perspective, which can change the impression of the face.

Differences in visibility depending on the angle of view of the camera

The face will look different with a telephoto lens and a wide-angle lens. If you want to create an animated expression, you need to devise a way of seeing the character so as not to destroy the impression of the character too much.

If you bring the face closer to the camera, the head will appear larger due to the wide-angle lens, and the face will look a little different. So adjust the scale so that the face is no longer in perspective.

By adjusting the scale of the face, you can weaken the perspective.

I adjusted the size of the face by shrinking it to match the balance of the body. This gives the impression that only the face was photographed with a telephoto lens, and reduces the impression that the face juts out.

Adjust the silhouette to fit the camera.

Adjust the silhouette to create momentum coming from the back to the front.

If you draw a line, you can see that the flow of each part is different. So, adjust each part so that the directions match.

Shrink your legs so as not to cut off the flow of your body.

Shrink the hands so that they look smaller toward the back to create depth.

I think it has more momentum to pop out than before the adjustment. It looks funny when you look at it from the side, but I adjusted it so that it looks good when viewed from the camera. It is important to make sure that the picture looks the best when viewed from the camera. The same fine adjustments are made in other areas as well.

Adjust the position of the knees of both legs so that they look the same.

I felt that the breasts were too small for the proportions of the face, so I adjusted the size of the breasts and also adjusted the size of the front and back of the legs to give them more depth.

It's hard to tell in a single moment of action, but I think the more you adjust, the more balanced the picture will be.

Other

When animating the hair, I paid attention to the way the hair waved, the way it moved.

It's a little messy, but I tried to make the hair flow from the roots to the ends, creating an S-shaped movement.

It is important to be aware of the movement before and after the animation, because even if each frame of the picture looks beautiful, it will look strange if there is any discomfort in the connection of the movements. It is very important to make sure that the animation has a pleasant look when it moves.
