We're wishing you well as summer turns to autumn here in the U.S. - anyone else looking forward to sweater weather?? Personally, we're most excited for the comfort that often comes with October :)

Anyway, we want to give y'all an update on current Stew happenings!

First off, we're considering a massive retcon - we're thinking about changing the name of the Cosmic Stew world from "Rong'lu" to something else. The reason for the change is two-fold. On the one hand, the name Rong'lu was coined by our friend and co-founder Devin for his own homebrewed world which we originally intended to expand upon for Cosmic Stew. On the other, Devin's involvement in the Stew has been on hiatus, and while he may someday return, the world has mutated far past his original envisioning. We want Dev to be able to flush out his original ideas when he's finally able to, and we want a name that more properly conveys the world we (Landon and Pierce) have built. Thus, we're floating potential name retcons. We feel the world we're building should be emblematic of all our inspirations, including you, our patrons, so be on the look out for a poll this week asking for your input on the name!!!

Speaking of polls, we want to do more! We have yet to come up with any concrete frequency, but we want to make an effort to get more input from you on the kinds of maps we create and include in the Atlas. This action bites into the value of our current stretch goal, so we'll need to come up with a new one of those, and any suggestions are appreciated!

Finally, we're sure you're aware that we're knee deep in Atlas production and as always we're pushing the envelope of our creations. We'd love to know what you all thought about the aesthetic change from our first two Atlases to the most recent volume. We wanted something that could be a little more cohesive as we start to dip into campaign-like material in the future. We'd also just love feedback in general - what works and what doesn't, so that we can continuously improve the product.

Oh, we're also considering expanding our team, so that's exciting! We haven't made any definite plans yet, but as we grow, the scope of what we want to do, and what we want Cosmic Stew to become, also grows. If you're a creative who has been following our work, be on the lookout for opportunities to get more personally involved with the project!
