One argument I saw recently is that Dr. Kawashima, the assist trophy from Brain Age, technically doesn't originate from a video game since he originates from a real-life person. So I think stuff that's not from a video game CAN be in the game but maybe not as a character. Unless maybe like a "video game version" of a character, like Lu Bu from Dynasty Warriors.

Haha. That's an interesting argument. I'd still argue that is a video game character and it being roughly based around a real person doesn't change anything. It's not a realistic representation of him. It's a cartoon avatar with its own personality.

I'm really looking forward to the 101 Kickstarter!! I never had the chance to play it on Wii U and I have quite enjoyed Platinum's games. Here's to hoping it gets added to the list of good Kickstarter games and not the ever expanding bad list. With it being a port, though, I'd be very shocked if it turned out being bad
