"No time to talk now, sweetie, I'm in a hurry."
"Okay, babe but don't forget our date toni-"
The door slammed behind Jack's boyfriend and he was left alone in the apartment. Huh. 10 to one he forgets about his date night.
Jack went to his closet and put a diaer on himself. At least he could enjoy this even without his boyfriend. He logged onto diaper butts daily and browed the forums and chats.
"Let's see what trouble I can get into today."
12 o clock lunch and he had almost soaked his diapers to capacity. He texted his boyfriend.
"Don't forget about tonight!"
No response. Oh, it looked like he was typing something, but it stopped.
Jack sighed.
He went into his closet for another diaper.
2pm and he had finished lunch. His off days sure were boring lately. Maybe he should go out an do something. Just a little more time online, he thought. He had just met a local guy into the same things he was. He wanted to meet.
"Sorry, I have to be home for my date night so I can't risk being late. Can I take a raincheck?"
"Yeah, no problem. Maybe next week?"
6pm and his boyfriend still wasn't home. Jack had already bagged and trashed his diapers since Dale wanted nothing to do with them.
"As long as I don't see them or hear about them, you can do whatever you want," he'd said.
He was just typing out a text when a message came in.
"Busy tonight. Let's try for next week."
Huh. That was not unexpected. Jack went into the closet for another diaper, and that's when he noticed. Dale's luggage was missing. His toiletry kit.... he ran to the restroom, that was gone too. He didn't say he was on a trip.
Jack began to get suspicious. He started to search through Dale's things. Nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn't until he was doing laundry that he found it. Ticket stubs - he hadn't gone out to the movies with Dale in months.
"That's weird. I only go out to the movies on date ni-...Oh my god. He's cheating on me."
It all made so much sense. But the words thing was...Jack didn't really care. He expected to feel something, but he realized he just didn't.
He jumped back on the computer and messaged his friend.
"I know it's a little late to go to the park, but how about drinks?"
"I thought you had date night."
"Date night is cancelled indefinitely."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"Wanna get drinks?"
"Touche. Let's meet at Sissy Sarah's in an hour."
8pm and Jack was walking into the bar, looking for his friend. He wore a diaper, as instructed, and he'd taken a cab - no driving tonight. They'd both agreed to wear padding and abdl branded clothing so they would stick out, but unfortunately they weren't the only ones. He decided to take a seat at the bar. A hunky bartender came up to him.
"What'll it be, cutie?"
"Oh, uh... I'll take an oops I crapped my pants."
"Coming right up."
He checked out the guy's butt as he walked away. He wasn't much of a butt man, but he could swear he'd heard a crinkle when the guy turned around, and his hindquarters were looking particularly wide and flat. The bartender turned around with the drink in hand, and he quickly drew his eyes upward so as not to be caught staring.
"Like what you see?"
"I- I- uh..." Jack blushed. He wasn't used to flirting, he'd been a good boyfriend all these years.
"This one's on the house. Sorry your date night got cancelled."
"...Nick?"
"Yup," said the bartender, trying to hold back a goofy grin.
"Oh my god, you had me flustered there for a minute."
"That was my intention," he said. "And yes, I *am* padded. Now tell me about your troubles, buddy." he said, adopting a fake new york bartender accent.
"You goofball," said Jack, shaking his head. "Okay, well, here goes..."
"That asshole!" said Nick, after listening to Jack's recounting of his discovery that evening. "So you've been with him for how long and he just totally makes you second fiddle? I'm going to need a drink too."
9pm "You know we should really do something about that Dale. Show him that he shouldn't have thrown away a perfectly good relationship."
"Well what did you have in mind."
"Oh I've got plenty of ideas, but they're too crazy..."
"Try me..."
"I think I'm going to need another drink first."
10pm They had both been drinking quite a bit, talking about more and more outlandish ways to get back at Dale. It became kind of a running joke throughout the night. By last call, Jack was way too wasted to even get a cab for himself, and Nick had to carry him out of the bar.
"Hey, why don't you come back to my place," slurred Jack. "Not like Dale is planning to be back tonight."
"I think I'd better. You don't look like you could make it on your own. Holy shit dude, your pampers are soaked. Let's get you home and changed."
That night Jack and Nick slept in Jack's bed. They didn't do anything - Jack was way too wasted for that. Jack thought how nice it was to have someone who actually talked to him share a bed again.
In the morning, Dale got home with his luggage.
"Hey, Jack, uh... what are you doing here? You don't have mondays off..."
"Nice to see you too, hon. I called in sick."
"Okay, well, I'm going to go watch TV. You can massage my feet, they're tired."
"I don't think he will be," said Nick, watching into the room.
"What the- who the fuck are you?" said Dale.
"I'm Nick, but you can call me Daddy. There are going to be some changes from now on."
"What are you talking about. Is this that diaper shit. Jack, I thought I told you, I don't want to- grrlllk"
Jack had Dale in a choke hold.
"Nighty night, little boy..."
"Let's take him to my place." said Nick. "My roommates already set up the nursery for a naughty little boy."
