2014 Rainbow Studio Update from the Past!

Rainbow talks about his studio set up in 2014! This video was put together back in 2014 for a Pledge update and we thought it would be nice to reshare if you never had the chance to see it!

That Gibson Les Paul guitar is fine, but I really prefer your Fender Jaguar :-) hehehe

I need these old demos 😱😍

I love this video so so much, I always realize the first sample into a song and waiting the cover of Jet Town 🤩

“What’s a 4-track?” The younger audience appreciates it, so thanks. 😂 I’d love seeing more older content like this, and I can’t wait to see the contrast when you upload newer setups and vlogs.

I could hear Seance all day 😳

Was this originally released as part of the Pledge Music drive for Superstition?I feel like I’ve seen it before.

I think it would be pretty cool if the band set up a little section where fans could put up songs they like from other bands, and Rainbow could listen to it on his free time to (maybe) get inspiration to make different tracks.

I'd love to see the rest of the old PledgeMusic content, a shame it had to close the way it did.

Yessss I'm so glad I get to see this video again. I wasn't around during the superstition days but I remember someone uploaded this video to YouTube and I found it so fascinating until it got removed one day, I'm glad it's back now

I would love nothing more than to download those tracks he was playing, I know they're demos but they're so good

Rainbow is so dang cool. I'd love to listen to all those demos

Can't wait for the updated version! :) More looks at what gear you like to use would be cool too!

These demos sound so cool! I'm pretty sure hearing velvet unlocked some hidden memory in my brain though lol

This was really very enjoyable to watch. Thank you. Too bad the riff at 6:30 didn´t make it. Although, it quite reminds me of "Down".

Have you ever thought about creating some songs of those parts that never ended up being songs? I think some sound very cool!! 😍

The song at 7:45 is so representative of your music, I love it since I first heard it on the pledge video. I hope it can be worked into something soon!

8:10 - Velvet AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I really hope that piece will be full song sometime T_____T

Always, often times ideas will get included in the coming albums or we will revisit these ideas each time we start a meeting album to see if they inspire us still

Thank you so much for this! Of course because I am a giant book nerd I kept tilting my head to try and see what books you have but of course.... I could not!

Anonymous

It would be so perfect if we could hear all those demo songs that never made it into any albums T_T <3

I love all these demos, thank you for sharing!

Hi, very interested in trying DADDAD tuning, you mention you replace string 3 with the same gauge as that of string 4, do you keep strings 1 & 2 as original gauging? i.e. my usual setup is 10, 13 17, 26, 36, 46, would DADDAD be 10,13,26,26,36,46 or 13,17,26,26,36,46?

The demo track at 6:31 is so heavy that my inner metal head from my teen years is kicking in again \m/
