The Allure of Wanton Cove progress report: (Patreon)

Been another one of those days where I didn't plan to work on anything but managed to get something done anyway!

Got the urge to do a little writing, but wasn't sure how much time I had to work on things, so I started with doing a little guide for stats in the game, explaining what everything does in a little detail for players.  That information will be found in the "Notes about creating your character." link on the character creation page.  I've had several people ask for clarification since I started the project and its always been sitting on the back burner.  Finally got that taken care of today.

By the time I finished up the character creation notes, I was kind of on a roll and ended up writing about 800 words of new content for Tanya, effectively finishing up her Mutation related reactions to the character.  This was the last of the current characters that needed content to account for Taint and Mutation.  (Some characters barely change at all, others will completely freak, . . . especially when it comes to the Mutations.)

About the time I was finishing up the writing I had done today, the artist who has been doing the cover art sent me the final version of the piece.   Obviously, that meant I had to add that to the game too.  :P

In Inheritance related news:

Pulled a Q&A session with the guy I have helping with some of the more complicated code.  Sounds like they're making progress and from what I gather, they've got a pretty good grasp on what's going on from that front.  Hopefully this means we'll be making good progress on that front soon.

Needless to say, I'm really happy with today's progress across the board.

I have one thing that needs to be taken care of on the home front tomorrow, and it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.  Other than that, the entire day should be pretty well focused on writing.  Best guess is that it will take 2-3 hours to finish up the last of my Wanton Cove checklist, and I should have a minimum of 5 hours to do it in.  Any extra time will most likely be spent plugging away at my Girl Life commitment.

I should be wading back into Inheritance by the end of this week unless something changes..
