We put this into testing at the beginning of this week, and after making a few final fixes thanks to feedback from a couple of our testers, we are ready to share the new build!


This build includes:

-Added 24 ambient events across a host of rooms in the mansion.

-Added some sample art as placeholders until finalized pieces are presented to replace them.

-A lot of mechanical improvements as we work behind the scenes to make everything work the way we want.

i don't know if its just me but i can't interact with the maids or with anything in general after sleeping the first time.

At present, that's the end of content. The game is in PreAlpha for the release you are playing, and we're just now shifting the production into Alpha stage. I added the first two interactive scenes to the game this last week with several more to come. Starting with the next release of the game (Tentatively looking at the 2nd-4th of this coming month) every build should start including more interactive content. With that said, that will be the first of the scheduled releases for the game as well, with releases alternating between that and Wanton Cove from then on. You've joined us at a very exciting time. Ten months of work on Inheritance is just starting to bear fruit. All of the pivotal code is in place with additional elements in the works to make the game even better, and after writing interactive content for the game for several months now, we're finally at the point where I've started adding it to the game (Needed certain mechanical elements in the code before it would work the way it is intended). There's a lot of great stuff on the horizon, and its now within reach of my team. The game should start feeling significantly less empty over the next couple of builds.
