A Goodwin underestimating Kurapika (he doesn’t know🫣)

I do not blame you for liking the troupe at all. Their characters and relationships are written in such a way that you can't help growing attached to them. Genuinely, each time I catch myself feeling that way, I often have to remind myself that they literally ruined Kurapika's life lol.

Any plans on checking out the trailer for Netflix Avatar tomorrow?

Enhancers are generally physically strong, and the glasses girl said she used her non-dominant hand. Considering we have seen her ability ( summoning the vaccum cleaner ) it's safe to say shes not an Enhancer, so Gon beat her with training wheels on, still impressive though.

In the manga the troupe calls Kurapika "Chain dude" instead of "chain user" It just sounds so funny to me

About Squala dating Eliza in the Hunterpedia. The first scene he was introduced was when Kurapika was walking up to the mansion for the job and he was lounging around in the yard with some dogs. He was talking to someone on the phone about how this job will pay enough to be set for life, and then he can take that person (Eliza) and all the dogs and settle down somewhere lol

That thought about the feeling of being in exactly the right moment, doing exactly the right thing, at exactly the right time is interesting. If I'm somewhat following, Hisoka feels like a good example. He's someone who not only knows exactly what he wants, but also clearly knows exactly who he is and is constantly working to achieve his goals. It lets him truly just be himself in every scene he's in. And as you also touched on, you'd never need to question Hisoka’s motives, since he's so in touch with himself that it's plainly obvious what to expect, or in his case, to expect something.

Honestly I was surprised when you drew the parallels between Gon and Uvogin, but it really does make a lot of sense when you look at it.

Kurapika: "CALL AN AMBULANCE, CALL AN AMBULANCE.." *turning to Ugovin* "but not for me."

It's "kusari-yarou" in Japanese, so... "chain-[expletive]"
