I had a feeling all these episodes would come in a series lol. I love the new outro

Mima

"Up to some mischief, Hisoka?" I love how the chief just KNOWS him

macrowave

The way Uvo slams his forehead through the door frame is so funny to me LOL

RoZiiii

Yeah the Phantom Troupe were not what I was expecting when they were finally introduced, i love it lmao. Need more villain groups like this

Anyone know why Gon and Killua were a bit tan in the Hunterpedia short?

Mima

an unpredictable yet very predictable man isn’t he

It feels so convincing too. Like, everyone knows Hisoka is scheming, yet they let him stick around. It feels like a combination of the fact that he's just such a capable and useful person, but also that he's totally honest about his dishonesty. It's almost preferable to someone who pretends to love you but you suspect will stab you in the back

The origional air date for these episodes was in September 2012. Japanese school lets back in around that time, so it was like a summer tan.

The phantom troupe is so overly casual about everything. Playing cards while Uvogin fights and having playful, unbothered banter while slaughtering people. Both hilarious and unnerving.

I think that's at least three times now they've covered characters in Hunterpedia that died in the same episode. Originally those mini character segments were pages at the start of most chapters during this arc. Since the anime adapts more than 1 chapter per episode, they end up having like half as much time for the character pages, which is why I imagine we've had 3 cases of dead characters being introduced by Gon and Killua.

Of course Hisoka has Kurapika meet him in Island Coney at night. Kurapika must have taken the 'Nen' train down there.

One thing I always find interesting in this episode is that in the previous episodes we see that nothing can really hurt/scratch Uvo, even in this episode where they couldn't even put a needle in him but despite all that when Kurapika hits him, he manages to make him bleed.

Just imagining the power vacuums created in this one night makes my head hurt. Hundreds of high ranking mafia members, all 10 of their supposedly top hitmen...

Sonozaki Shinji

Something i love about Nen, is that is not a power level that is focused in numbers (some parts are like the amount of aura), is not so much that the phatom troupe was that much stronger, i think is more that they now how to use their powers that much better, and they have their basic skills maximed too which a lot hunters overlook for being well... basic. Togashi should been a game developer too.

Hmm, I'd say yes and no. In the case of Uvo it is actually just sheer power and the simplicity that comes with it. Man's bringing a crowbar to a chess game.

Jake White

The way Nobunaga goes cross eyed looking at both doors as they close on him before the car gets shrunken down into the handkerchief, will always be hilarious lol
