Was just watching your old My Hero reactions and I'm 90% sure you made an Ippo reference. As it's literally my favorite sports media of all time I'd love to hear your thoughts on the series if youve seen/read it!

The interesting thing about nen users is that, for me personally in regards to the world building, you think you have to suspend your disbelief in terms of how this power system affects the world, but it makes sense when you think about. Btw none of this is ever explained in the story, I just think it’s really interesting to think about. You would think that the Dons would have stronger enforcers, but it was said that 50 of the top 100 richest people are hunters, likely because of nen in hindsight. Honestly, nen users as strong as Uvogin are likely either too expensive for even the dons, or can’t be bought. I mean, you would literally have an insane superhuman abilities and can create unique powers from scratch, with that many doors open for you, would you be some underworld lackey if you were a one man army like Uvo? These are literally superhumans for sale, you’d realistically have to be absolutely loaded to even be able to temporarily hire a weak nen user. Someone this powerful likely can’t be controlled or bought. Which is actually kind of a scary thought.

From Watching These and your my hero reactions I think it has the potential for some of your best rants ever

That's a good point, Gon and Killua have shown that money is a trivial ambition when you have access to the world of nen

Need. More.

Now you see where JJK gets its whole pact thing from. I'll elaborate on it more when the show does, but I love the idea of restrictions that boost one's abilities. It makes you wonder just how much you'd be willing to restrict yourself for strength. Uvogin also out here showing what it's like to be a master enhancer. The sound attack is always my favorite. It's a cool way to enhance a part of oneself that you wouldn't typically imagine to be used offensively.

"This is very Jujutsu Kaisen" Or maybe Jujutsu Kaisen is very HxH? Lol

I think you can tie this idea back to what the Phantom Troupe were talking about last episode. What would any of them ask of the mafia that they couldn't already have for themselves.

Who wakes up and wants to make that their nen ability. Better yet, who wakes up and wants to hire that person as their body guard.

It's a kind of interesting parallel how the voice actor of the leader of the Phantom Troupe is Miyano, the same one who played Light in Death Note, because they both somehow magically make wild leaps to the correct conclusions based on a tiny amount of evidence. Here, we saw how the Phantom Troupe leader essentially figured out that the mafia didn't know the Phantom Troupe were coming, but probably had some vague information that something bad was going to happen (i.e. Neon's prophecies).
