It's worth pointing out that in the manga they each open the gate independently, rather than as a group. Leorio actually manages to open the 2nd gate on his own.

Fun fact: In the manga, they were shown to able to move the 3rd gate together. And Leorio could move 8 of those 16 tons. He was clearly weaker than Gon and Kurapika before this, so it’s amazing to see him clearly put in so much work despite likely having the least personal connection to Killua (he’d still probably find a way to get his ass whooped).

It was said last episode on Lamentation Tours that there’s 5 children of the Zoldyk family. You met Illumi in the exam, Milluki in this episode (the chonky one) and the one following the mom who looks like a girl. I don’t think it’s stated anywhere in the anime, but that one’s a boy too, and I don’t think his name was mentioned yet. So other than Killua there’s still one more sibling who hasn’t been introduced at all

Just caught on the rewatch (yes I rewatch these lol) you’re the first reactor I’ve seen that accurately connects the mom’s bandages to killua stabbing her in the face. Everyone else just thinks it’s her character design I think. Also the first thing the mom says is the kid’s name next to her, Kalluto

Yep, pretty much the entire first half of the episode was anime original. This arc actually has quite a few anime original additions.

As someone who has seen a lot of both, I think they both do quite well episode-by-episode, but the really emotional moments hit different in the sub imo.

Yep the sub is great as usual. This is just one of the few shows I think the dub was really well done.
