Oh man, this episodes title is so correct. I loved the reaction and wanted to ask if anyone knew if the part talking about god was Thorfinn or was it Canute? I am always surprised by your takes and views on the story and characters. When I first watched however I thought the speech about god was Canute. Either way, enjoyable as usual and can't wait to see more Goodwin reactions!

I believe that line about God was when Caute said that shortly before visiting his father for the first time after his “awakening”. It was Thorfinn remembering Canute saying that and understanding it

She’s so young too… and she’s essentially lost her family twice. First when she lost hjalti and separated from gardar plus put into slavery, then again she officially loses gardar and she lost another child. Being around her age as well, I can’t imagine what it must feel like or how I’d process it
