First, in Japanese what he said was: おそらく早瑠川工業もここは相当警戒していると思います. Basically: "I'm thinking that Sarukawa is paying extra close attention to those players" (down the middle, like Lev/Kuroo/Yamamoto, and therefore that they have fewer attentional resources to dedicate to Fukunaga on the outside) At 9:18, Kenma says the same thing when he's reviewing their strategy: they must be paying extra attention to Lev/Kuroo, so that's why he thinks he can use them as a lure. 2:20 They wrote that they need a lot of persistence to put "direct pressure" on the setter, but what he actually said was that it takes a lot to put *indirect* pressure on someone like a setter. They can't directly target Kenma.
